The healthyliving award achieves another milestone!

On 13th December 2007 the The Abbey Mill Café and Coffee Shop in Melrose became the 200th catering establishment in Scotland to gain the healthyliving award.

The Abbey Mill Café and Coffee Shop is part of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill group and is also the 18th of this group’s 18 cafes and coffee shops to gain the healthyliving award, so a very impressive achievement all round!

The Abbey Mill Café and Coffee shop in Melrose has recently gained the healthyliving award and in doing so has also scored a number of other achievements.  It is the 200th establishment to be awarded the healthyliving award and is also the 18th of a total of 18 Edinburgh Woollen Mills restaurants and cafes in Scotland to gain the award.  Congratulations to all at Edinburgh Woollen Mills for this fantastic achievement.
The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group comprises a large number of speciality tourist stores several of which have cafes and coffee shops to appeal to their customers.  Many of the outlets trade under an individual or local name and they can be found in key tourist locations throughout the UK, but with the majority in Scotland.
