Are you closing down during the Covid-19 period?

We will not be closing down but all assessments and quality assurance visits will be on hold for the next 6 months although this timeframe is subject to change.  We will continue with all other business as much as possible and we are available to offer support

What does putting assessments and quality assurance visits on hold mean?

We are just pressing pause on the award.  You will still continue to hold your award if you have one and we will be back in touch when this period of uncertainty is over.

Where can I access help and support for the award during this time?

As per Government guidelines, our team are now working remotely and unable to answer calls.  We will be periodically picking up voicemails but we would encourage you to contact us through the following channels: 

Can I still register for the Award?

Yes as long as you have been inspected by environmental health and hold a valid food hygiene certificate. We can get you registered and can send your starter pack out electronically which will allow you to get started.

I am ready to send in my self-assessment workbook – can I still do this?

You are welcome to e-mail this to enquiries@healthylivingaward.co.uk. We will not be able to carry out a face to face assessment but if you would like to discuss the possibility of a remote telephone assessment please get in touch. If you would prefer a face to face visit just hang on to your booklet and once the Covid-19 period is over we will be in touch. 

I have an assessment/QA visit booked in over the next few months – will this go ahead?

Not if it’s a face to face visit, but we will be in touch to re-arrange. If it is a telephone assessment, a member of the team will be in touch to check you are happy to go ahead. 

I am currently sitting with an assessment or QA feedback report – can I send in my evidence to gain the Award?

Yes, please do. E-mail your evidence to the address on your feedback report.

My award expires in the next 6 months, what should I do?

Your award will still be valid and we will be in touch after the Covid-19 situation to arrange your renewal.

Can I still get promotional materials sent out?

Unfortunately, we are no longer sending any resources.  You can still place an order by email and we will keep this aside to be processed and delivered to you when we are back in the office.
