The catering team at Robert Gordon’s College is celebrating being awarded the healthyliving award plus, following the school receiving the healthyliving award in late 2009 and the Eat Safe award in early 2010.

To qualify, the school had to hold the original award for two years and increase the healthyliving award choices proportion of food served to the pupils and its staff.

Serving up the healthy choices at Gordon’s is Aberdeen based catering and hotel support services company, Entier Limited.  The company serves the needs of both on and offshore clients, from private education establishments, including Robert Gordon’s College, to offshore units and vessels in the North Sea and internationally.

Entier’s managing director Peter Bruce said, “We are delighted to have attained the healthyliving award plus at Robert Gordon’s College and a special thanks go to our catering manager Jo Watson and her team, who have worked tirelessly, for their hard work and effort in achieving this award.  It goes to show that the pupils can still enjoy a wide variety of meals whilst making healthy eating choices.  Equally, the staff have remarked on the feel-good benefit to their diet.”

Hugh Ouston, Head of College adds, “When you see these awards being achieved and then displayed you can rest assured that your food has been prepared in a kitchen of the highest standard.”

Entier provides a wide selection of healthy options for the school’s 850 pupils at Gordon’s, all prepared to award-winning standards.
