Signpost to training

Businesses applying for the healthyliving award are given support materials such as an applicants guidance folder and training DVD, which provide help and advice to make their menus healthier. Support is also available through the healthyliving award website, telephone helpline and by email.

But what if you or your staff would like to know more about healthy eating? Perhaps they would like to learn a little about nutrition and the relationship between food and well-being?

A short course run by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) may be just what you are looking for. The Elementary Food and Health Course is designed to provide participants with up to date information that extends their knowledge and understanding of the relationship between food and health.

The course is delivered by REHIS’s extensive network of 84 approved training centres across Scotland, and comments received from course organisers and participants have been very positive.

For further details of courses coming up in your area, contact the REHIS Training Section on 0131 225 5444 or by email at training@rehis.com.
