Sandra Jaffray is Cook/ Supervisor for contract catering company The Workshop at First Bus in Aberdeen. We asked her what she thought of the award and the benefits it has brought:

  • Q. What were your main reasons for applying for the healthyliving award?
  • A. To encourage clients to eat more healthily, and to learn more about healthier preparation and cooking practices.
  • Q. Do you feel that working towards and achieving the healthyliving award has been worthwhile?
  • A. Yes, it has been worthwhile for education purposes for both caterer’s and client’s staff.
  • Q. Would you recommend the healthyliving award to other caterers?
  • A. Yes, it is a lot easier than you think, as in not too much extra work, just different ways of working.
