Meet the team

When you contact the healthyliving award team you might wonder who you are speaking to. Well here we are, so next time you get in touch, you’ll be able to put a face to the name!

Claire Brown is Project Manager for the healthyliving award, and oversees the delivery and development of the project both day-to-day and at a strategic level. She regularly meets with policy makers, stakeholders and caterers to ensure that the project meets its aims.


The team members are from the back: Claire Brown, Joanne Burns, Lesley Bass, Yvonne Traynor, Moira Stalker, Barbara McDougall

Yvonne Traynor is Development Co-ordinator, and is responsible for all promotion and marketing activities related to the award.  You may meet Yvonne at exhibitions, conferences and events where she will be promoting the healthyliving award to caterers and consumers.  If you would like more information about the award and the benefits it can bring to you, please feel free to give Yvonne a call.

Joanne Burns is our Assessment Co-ordinator. She is responsible for the delivery of the award by leading the co-ordination of the assessment process and activities. Joanne co-ordinates and manages a network of sessional assessors.  She will most likely have the answer if you have registered for the award and have a query about the criteria or any aspect of the assessment process.

Moira Stalker and Barbara McDougall share the post of Development Officer. They co-ordinate the award website and newsletter, and help Yvonne with all aspects of marketing and promotion.

Lesley Bass is our Project Administrator the first point of contact for the healthyliving award.  She handles initial enquiries and registrations and also liases with local council environmental health departments.  Arranges delivery of starter packs and other promotional materials to caterers is another of her responsibilities.
